RENTAL TERMS, CARE & CONDITIONS
Hook Props works hard to maintain the best possible condition for all of our items. However, all props are rented “as is”. In order to ensure that our props meet your needs, please contact us with any questions prior to your rental. You are also welcome to make an appointment to visit our prop house for viewing.
We are more than happy to schedule delivery and/or return for your order. Email us with your preferred delivery date, time, and location as well as return pick up date and time and we will obtain a quote from one of our outside messenger companies. Alternatively, you are welcome to schedule your own messengers and will be responsible for round trip transportation and handling of all items.
All props come wrapped, blanketed, or boxed with bubble wrap. When returning, please package props securely and use the same blankets and bins to keep items safe and damage free. Any unreturned blankets and bins will be billed for.
We accept payment by credit card up to the time of delivery, or cash upon pick up. We require a credit card to keep on file during your rental. Once an order is finalized and leaves our location payment is nonrefundable.
The lessee is responsible for maintaining the condition of our props from the time they leave our location until the time of their return. Any damage done to items within this window will be billed for the current retail price of the item, or the price to clean/repair the item (to be determined by Hook Props upon inspection). Please alert your crew and messengers on how to handle items rented.
Our website prices reflect weekly rental periods. For example, if the lessee rents an items for 1 day, they will be charged for one week. If the lessee rents an item for 10 days, they will be charged for 2 weeks, etc. Please contact us if you intend to hold an item for longer than the agreed upon rental period.
To extend your rental period, please notify us by email or phone. Late items will incur a charge for the appropriate amount of time if it surpasses the intended weekly rental period. Returns are accepted within our business hours of Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM. If this is not possible, please notify us prior to rental so we can try to work something out.
By placing an order and signing this agreement upon rental, Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Hook Props and its agents and employees against claims of any sort resulting from any activity in connection with the products being leased.
